False Lashes How To

Hey Everybody! Get Excited! Get Excited! I’m back with another informational beauty blog. Let’s talk beauty…I know applying false eyelashes can seem intimidating, so here is an easy, foolproof way to apply false lashes:

1. Curl your natural eyelashes.

2. Lay a mirror on the table or counter in front of you and look down.

3. Trim the outside end of your false eyelashes to fit the width of your eyelid.

4. Apply eyelash glue to the false lashes. Allow the glue to dry for a minute so that it will get tackly (slightly sticky, then place the lash directly on top of your own lash; then push it into that very fine space where the lash grow out.

5. Once the glue has dried, apply one coat of mascara to blend your natural lashes with the false one...

Give Yourself a Face Lift with Makeup

Hey Everybody!  Get Excited! Get Excited!  I’m back with another informational beauty blog.  Let’s talk beauty…Did you know that applying makeup can lift/slim your face and also make you look younger?

Before giving yourself a face makeup lift use a moisturizer, night cream and SPF to help tighten your skin and enliven your pores.   Let’s get started…

Eyebrows
Tweeze your eyebrows to achieve a more lifted look in the eye area. Use an eyebrow stencil to help you get a good arching shape that is neither too high nor too straight. Then apply light shade concealer underneath the brow bone using an angle brush. Follow with an eye shadow one shade lighter than your concealer.

Cheekbones
To lift cheekbones choose a bronzer that is a few shades darker than your natural color. Pick a bronzer that has little shimmer. Purchase bronzer from a trained expert that can help you choose the correct shade.  Dust a light line of bronzer from your hairline to the apple of your cheek. Put the bronzer in the area that is sunken in when you suck in your cheeks and not on the actual cheek bone

Jawline
To lift jawline apply your regular foundation over clean, moisturized skin Use a concealer brush to apply a liquid highlighter into the creases or jowl lines.  Apply a lightweight, fluid concealer over the highlighted areas. This takes off the high-shimmer, while allowing a little of the radiance to show thorough, making jowl lines less obvious.

.
Pro Tip:  Use a white highlighter on the inside rim of the eye to help whiten/brighten to give the eyes a more youth look

What is BB Cream

Hey Everybody!  Get Excited! Get Excited!  I’m back with another informational beauty blog.  Let’s talk beauty…Did you know that BB creams are another way to get skin perfection?
In the cosmetics world, the beauty buzz is about the rise of BB creams for luxury and mass market retailers. The truth is, they’re not new.  The original BB cream stands for blemish balm made in Korea. The original products were just used to treat blemishes but now they’re for beauty or facial rejuvenation. Today the BB creams are much more sophisticated than they were when they started and much more complex in a good way. It has become a favorite beauty product for many women in Asia and the international markets.
Not all BB creams are the same you have to see what’s in that BB cream.  BB cream is said to be a substitute for foundation. The lightweight cream evens out the skin tone and hides blemishes. You can apply the cream the same way you would apply a moisturizer. You may also decide to apply your makeup on top of the BB cream; however, it is not necessary.

Apply Liquid Eyeliner Like A Pro

Hey Everybody I’m back with another informational blog!  Let’s talk beauty…Liquid eyeliner provides your eyes with the most dramatic look. It's perfect for a glamorous look.   Did you know that liquid liner slides onto skin, while pencils can pull and poke at the skin?   With a little practice, liquid eyeliner can be applied correctly without turning into a mess.  Continue reading…

Purchase liquid eyeliner with a felt tip. This type of liner is typically much easier to apply and goes on more smoothly.
Gently lift your skin at the outer corner of your eye with your index finger to pull your eyelid taut. Use a hands-free magnified mirror to get a close view of the eye area.

Draw a line from the midpoint of the eye to the outer corner with the tip of the liquid eyeliner. If you are going for a cat eye look, extend the line just beyond the outer corner.

Draw a line from the inner corner of your eye to meet the line at the midpoint. Applying the line as two short lines gives you greater control. But if this is still too difficult, apply it as three or more short lines that meet up, creating one long line from the inner to the outer corner of the upper lid.
Pro Tip:  Have eye makeup remover on hand.  If you mess up, you can simply apply some of the solution to a cotton swab to wipe away any mistakes.
