HOW TO APPLY MAKEUP FOR WIDE EYES

Get EXCITED!  Get SUPER Excited!  Let's talk about applying makeup for wide eyes...

If the spacing between your eyes is wider than the width of one eye, your eyes are considered wide-set. Your goal is to create the illusion that they are set closer together.

*In this case, you need to darken the inside hollows of your eye next to the bridge of your nose more than for any other eye shape. Deepening the color helps this area appear to recede and makes your eyes look closer together.

*Begin all dark-color application slightly in from the outer corners and blend your shadow in and up instead of outward, because an outward blending will "pull" the eyes wider apart, and your goal is to "pull" the eyes wider apart, and your goal is to "pull" them closer together.

APPLICATION:

1. Highlight shade: Apply to brow bone and lid.

2. Mid tone shade: Starting from the outer corner of the crease, bring the color towards the inside corner of your eye. Be sure to apply a few more layers to the inside corners to deepen the color and help visually push the eyes closer together.

3. Contour shade: Starting slightly in from the outer corner, brush it across the upper lash line and up into the crease of your eye. Also sweep it underneath the lower lash line, being careful not to extend the color beyond the outer edge of the eye.

How to Make Your Eye Color POP

Hey Everybody! Get SUPER Excited!  I'm back with another informational beauty blog.   Let's talk beauty…

How to make your Eye Color POP...

Don't you love how you can magically pick a shadow that makes your eyes so BRIGHT and Colorful! We have ALL chosen the WRONG eye shadows that can take away from our eyes. I want to share how to incorporate an eye shadow that compliments your eye color in your everyday makeup!

Mistakes::: Don't go overboard with your Complimentary Eye Shadow!! It's not necessary to use this color alone. In fact, a beautiful way to interchange colors but yet keep the POP of your eyes.... Would be to use a complimentary tone in your eye shadow application. Maybe in the crease, on the lid or the Intense color for depth. You can now use different shadows and incorporate your "Eye Pop Color" (complimentary color) By keeping a complimentary color in your eye shadow application, your sure to keep ALL the attention on your eyes!!

Heres a small head start for you to begin practicing adding YOUR complimentary into your eye makeup routine!

Blues-- Warm tones Green--
Pink/Purple tone Grey--
Cool tones/Pastels Browns--
Blues, Browns, greens, you name it!
GOLD-- this is for Hazel eyes with Gold or Brown Golden eyes

For HAZEL EYES---- Find the dominant color or the color in your eye that you want to pop and follow the guide! Is it blue, green, gold?

2016 Spring Makeup Trend

Hey Everybody! Get SUPER Excited!  I'm back with another informational beauty blog.   Let's talk beauty…

It's the season for bright red lips, electric blue eyes, glitter and false lashes.

Red lipstick is classic and come in a range of formulas, from matte to glossy, sheer to opaque.  Matte or creamy, rich red lip pairs well with classic evening attire, from a dinner out to a formal event, while a glossier or shinier red looks quite modern and fresh if you prefer an edgier style for evening.

Blue Shadow -When it comes to blue eye makeup, is any way you want. Go smoky with sparkly navy, draw a heavy line.

Glitter Eye Shadow - Apply loose glitter directly over top of existing eye shadow, prep with primer or base before eye shadow to ensure that your color stays put before you apply the glue.

False Lashes- Every day women do new things to help put their best face forward. False eyelashes are making a comeback on the red carpets, and women want to emulate.  False eyelashes are a fun, glamorous and easy way to add length and volume to your natural lashes.  The key to wearing fake lashes with confidence is making them blend naturally with your own.
