A must have beauty product...it's a luxurious body cream made from shea butter, a natural extract. The scent is heavenly but does not interfere with other fragrances. Shea Nut Body Butter alleviates dryness, provides sun protection, and penetrates deep into the skin to nourish and soften. Extended use gradually fades out skin discoloration, burns, and cuts.

Eye Care! Eye Creams! Eye Gels!

Hey Reader! Thanks for stopping by today. I was on a conference call last night and the main topic was (Eye Care). It was an excellent topic that I had to post this information on my blog. It is said that women #1 beauty concern is how to care for the eyes. Women should begin to use eye creams at the age of 30 to prevent puffiness, fine lines and dark under-eye circles.

Eyes are one of the most accentuated facial features we have. From makeup to sunglasses, they are often framed and displayed. Taking care of your eye area, where some of the most sensitive skin on your body is found, is important in your skin care regimen.

To apply eye products use your ring finger. The ring finger is the smoothest and least used of your fingers, so it will glide against your skin lightly. Start at the outer corner of eye when apply eye cream (products) pat going towards the nose (counter clockwise). When using eye creams pat the area around the eye repeatedly to help ensure that the eye cream you initially spread is absorbed into the skin. This is a very gentle touch, so do not rub or pull at your skin.

Eye creams are great because they not only moisturize around your eyes but also give your concealer, foundation and eye shadow a smooth surface to cover.

Eye Cream – Helps prevent lines while softening and diminishing existing lines. Great for Normal to Dry skin

Eye Gel - Helps cool puffiness, smooth, and great for dark under-eye circles. Excellent for oily skin

Crème Rinses vs Finishing Rinses Hair

Great day! Thanks for stopping by, hope all is well. I’ve created a new social networking site “If You Luv Makeup & Beauty” www.makeupbeautyandyou.ning.com which is a spin off from this blog. Get Excited! I was reading some of the beauty advice that was posted on the network and was very impressed with the HYPE Hair group that one of the members (Sensational WiGg’s) birthed.

Her knowledge on hair care products has brought a new twist to the site. Check out her inside on Crème Rinses and Finishing Rinses…Sensational WiGg’s recommend the below conditioners to maintain healthily hair, detanglement and to smooth hair cuticle.

Instant Conditioners
Smooth hair cuticles and detangle but protect the hair shaft with thin coating of hydrolyzed protein.

Deep Conditioner and Protein Conditioner
Deep conditioner give you more intense conditioning treatment because they seal moisture and coat hair shaft with proteins left on hair for 20 to 30 minutes with or without heat then rinse out.

Reconstructing Conditioners
this contains complex proteins or nucleic acids that temporarily bond to protein structure in the hair. Note: you should be careful when using the syrupy formulas because they can dry into a stiff helmet on your hair and must be rinsed out or you can have hair loss.

Hair Repair Conditioners
It have thin watery consistency and are leave in conditioners they usually used several consecutive shampoos and then your hair shaft remains "repair". Many contain formaldehyde.

Try this Natural Remedies for hair breakage:
THE EGG YOLK AND OLIVE OIL TREATMENT In a small bowl: (1) Egg yolk and 2 tbsp of Olive Oil wet hair and apply treatment concentrationon the ends

Hooded Eyes Hook

Hey! If You Luv Makeup & Beauty readers. Thanks for stopping by today. A few emails came in about how to apply eyeshadow for hooded eyes. I realize this topic was not posted on my blog. So here we go…Hooded eyes are sometimes called “bedroom eyes” because the lids trend to look partly closed. To make the lid area “push away” or recede, and help your eyes become more prominent than the eyelids.

Never use a dark eyeshadow over the entire lid, because it makes it appear heavier and will close in your eyes.

Don’t highlight the browbone too much, because doing so can accentuate the hooded appearance of the eyelid.

Application:

Highlight shade: Apply to browbone and along the upper lash line.
Midtone shade: Start at the base of your upper lash line and bring the color up and over the entire hooded area. This helps the lid recede. Make sure to blend the areas where the midtone color meets the highlight color.
Contour shade: Start at base of the lash line and bring the color up and over the hooded area. For this eye shape, you need to bring your contour color in a little farther and up a little higher than on the other eye shapes. This will help the hooded area recede. Next, sweep the contour color underneath the lower lashes to define the lower lashline. You don’t want to miss this step! Hooded eyes really benefit from a well-defined upper and lower lash line.

Classic Hollywood Look

Today is Classic Hollywood Day! Get Excited! Every screen siren, alluring actress and even you can rock this look. Excellent for special occasion.

Makeup Needed:
Black Eye Shadow
Black Eyeliner
Gold Eye Shadow
Red Lipstick
Red Lip Liner

The ultimate old-world charm and glamour, the classic Hollywood look can incorporate bold colors and heavy makeup without appearing overdone.
How to Get the Classic Hollywood Look?

Outline your eyes with black eye shadow or black eyeliner. Don't make the line too thick, but do go all the way around. If you're new to the look, go very easy on your bottom lid. Thicken the line at the
outside corners of your eyes and roughly the outside half of your eyes. Don't put anything more on the inside corners.

Then, swipe gold eye shadow on the inside corners and any part of your lids untouched by black shadow. This will glam up and even out the look.

Next, choose lipstick and lip liner in a red shade with a slightly dark tint to it. Color in your whole lip with lip liner, and then swipe the lipstick on. This will prevent feathering out and fading.

Until next time…
